The Glide team will be on our stand at Accountex 2026 in London’s Excel Exhibition centre this week. We’d be delighted to meet you, and help you understand how the Job Budgets feature can help you get the most out of Glide.
We believe for many of our users this will be an extremely valuable new feature. Workflow sub-systems can now have budgets defined comprising of the users involved, time and monetary value allocated. This key information then allows you to accurately determine the profitability of each element of the job/task.
Job Budgets can be defined as templates, or specified on a client by client basis, or even on a job-by-job basis. We are working to connect the Job Budgets feature smoothly to our Glide Time & Fees module, it can also work independently with information fed via an external tool. It is fully integrated with our Scheduler tool, allowing you to place budget elements on the scheduler to plan each stage of a particular job.
We believe that for many users this ability to measure resource capacity connected to workflow progress monitoring will turbo-charge the value they can extract from Glide in the years to come.
